Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri

Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri was an Australian Indigenous artist who was one of the founders of the Indigenous art movement in Australia. 

His work centers around telling the history of the Anmatyerre people. He described his work as a passing on of traditions and a way to tell stories to the generations to come. Through his work and life he continually encouraged other Indigenous artists to paint and tell their stories.
