Anna Atkins

Anna Atkins was a botanist and photographer. 

Atkins utilized early photography techniques in her botanical research and later she created the photographs that were used within the book “Photographs of BritishAlgae: Cyanotype Impressions”. This book is considered the first book to be published featuring full photographs.
